Our Appointment System
All our consultations for doctors and nurses are by appointment only. We endeavour to provide you with the choice of booking an appointment most appropriate to your needs.
- When you need to see a doctor during weekdays, please phone the surgery as early in the day as possible and you will be given an appointment to attend within 24 hours.
- You are also able to book designated afternoon appointments up to four weeks in advance.
Please note for more than 80% of our GP consultations we have allowed a generous 15 minutes allocation. The remainder are the more standard 10 minute appointments. Nurse appointments can be booked in multiples of 15 minutes to create longer appointments if required.
Telephone advice
If you require telephone advice from either a doctor or practice nurse please give as much information as possible to the receptionist and your call will be returned. However, if you do have a genuine emergency please tell the medical receptionists who will transfer you to a doctor.
